Kit Aid partner with charities to send your unwanted kit to people who need it in countries all over the world.
What difference does it make?
Donating old kit is always better than sending it to landfill and Kit Aid help every item find a new home - even socks which help homeless people in the UK keep their feet dry and healthy when the weather's wet.
This activity lowers your carbon footprint by:
4.5 KG CO₂
What do you need?
- Your old kit
- A computer or phone
- Some transport to reach the drop-off point
Step by step
Gather any kit the kids have grown out of/you no longer need. KitAid take all sizes in every piece of kit - even socks - so anything you no longer need could be put to good use.
Visit the KitAid page and email your local KitAid representative to arrange drop-off of any pieces of kit you'd like to donate.
Travel to the drop-off point and hand over your donation. Don't forget to grab a couple of photos! You can feel good on the way home - you've helped the environment AND people in need.
