For a squad to keep winning, a manager must make promises to some players about their playing time, and it is no different when it comes to the environment!
Well, you could promise to walk to school instead of using a car, to put rubbish away in the correct recycling bin, and you can promise to drink tap water! Let's keep all parts of the environment squad happy!
What difference does it make?
Research has shown that those who publicly promise to do something are more likely to follow through and do what they had promised than those who hadn't pledged at all.
What do you need?
- A Fallen branch
- Plant pot or box
- soil or stones
- leaf template
- pens.
Step by step
Stand the fallen branch in the pot, filling with soil and stones and make sure that it's still.
Ask all children in the class to write an eco promise on a cut out leaf.
Attach the leaves onto the branch and place it where everyone can see it and read the promises made out loud.
