Christmas time is usually the most wonderful time of the year for football fans: plentiful games to watch, and the possibility of receiving a new kit on Christmas morning. However, there are some that are less fortunate.
Although the perfect present would be a pre-worn shirt from a favourite player, we love the idea of football fans offering their pre-loved kits to other supporters and really get into the giving spirit of togetherness at Christmas.
What difference does it make?
The equivalent of 30% of the total amount of new clothes is thrown away yearly in the UK, and it is estimated that one in five households might not be able to afford any presents for their children. We're all on the same team: Christmas is not necessarily about buying, but it can also be about re-using; giving away what we already have, showing kindness and solidarity.
