This is a -not so- secret recipe leaked to you by the Planet Super League team!
What difference does it make?
Sometimes we lack inspiration to try new things, especially when it comes to breakfast routine: Veganuary is the occasion to try something yummy and exciting!
What do you need?
- 100g oat flakes
- 8 dates without stones
- 1 dessert spoon plant or nut based butter
- 1 dessert spoon of cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence; 4 dessert spoons of water
- coconut flakes
Step by step
Blend the oats, dates, cocoa, butter and vanilla in a blender until it goes crumbly. If you blend it too much you will lose the crunch. (if you use margarine, just throw in a handfull of nuts).
Then add the water - might need more than the 4 dessert spoons - and keep on blending until its like a dough you can roll into balls.
Once you have it dough-like, make it into little football shapes, about an inch in diameter. Then roll them in the coconut flakes to get a nice white covering.
We recommend to keep them a couple of hour in the fridge before serving them! Don't forget to take a picture of one of your team members enjoying their vegan snack!
