A veganuary recipe that can be used as a dip or a spread: its lime freshness enlivens all it accompanies!
What difference does it make?
Sometimes we lack inspiration to try new things, especially when it comes to food: Veganuary is the occasion to try something yummy and exciting!
What do you need?
- 2 ripe avocados (peeled and stoned)
- ¼ red onion (chopped)
- Juice of 1 lime
- salt and pepper
- Optional: ½ red chilli and 10 sprigs fresh coriander
Step by step
Put everything in a food processor and blitz for about 10 seconds, making sure you keep some of the texture.
If you feel like getting more hands on, do it the traditional way, using a pestle and mortar, or if the avocados are ripe enough with a fork.
Adjust the chilli (optional), lime and salt and pepper to your taste.
Time to enjoy: on toast or as a dip with tortilla chips! Don't forget to take a picture of one of your team members enjoying this classic!
